Groton Police Locate Missing Teenager

GROTON — Chief Donald Palma Jr. reports that the Groton Police Department located a teenager who was missing for approximately two hours yesterday.

On Tuesday, Jan. 31 at approximately 6 p.m., Groton Police received a report of a missing teenager who hadn’t returned after going for a jog. The subject was described as a 16-year-old white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, wearing black jogging pants and a blue/green windbreaker.

Groton, Westford and Littleton Police K-9 units, along with the Groton Fire Department, responded and conducted a search of the area where the female was jogging.

The female was located at approximately 8:18 p.m. by the Groton Police K-9 unit and the Groton Fire Department. She was cold and disoriented and transported to a local hospital out of an abundance of caution.
