BELMONT — Chief James MacIsaac reports that the Belmont Police Department responded to a crash in which a pedestrian was struck by a motor-vehicle on Lewis Road.
On Saturday, Oct. 22 at approximately 11:20 a.m. Belmont Police received multiple reports of a pedestrian that had been struck by a motor vehicle on Lewis Road.
Responding officers discovered a 20-year-old man who was suffering from serious injuries and transported to an area hospital by Belmont Fire Department ALS ambulance.
The incident is being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Belmont Police.
