Central Middlesex Police Partnership Announces New Website
MIDDLESEX COUNTY — The Central Middlesex Police Partnership is pleased to announce the launch of its new website.
The CMPP was formed in 2016 by the police departments of Acton, Bedford, Concord, Carlisle, Lincoln, Lexington, Stow, Maynard and the Hanscom Air Force Base. Through partnerships with the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, Eliot Community Human Services, the Domestic Violence Services Network and Concord District Court, CMPP works to address growing concerns around substance abuse issues through targeted and ongoing substance use prevention, intervention and educational programming.
The new CMPP website features community-specific contacts and resources, as well as substance abuse resources for residents. Visitors can also learn more about the CMPP’s work including their jail diversion program which supports the mental health and substance abuse needs of people coming into contact with law enforcement.
“We are so pleased with the launch of the new CMPP website so residents can more easily access information about the resources that are available to them through our programs,” said Jail Diversion Coordinator and Clinician Alia Toran-Burrell. “We hope that residents of all CMPP communities will explore the site and utilize its many resources!”
