GROVELAND – Deputy Chief Jeffrey Gillen is pleased to announce that the Groveland Police Department will host a bicycle safety rodeo this weekend.
WHEN:
Saturday, June 3, from 10 a.m. to noon
WHERE:
The municipal parking lot at 181-185 Main St.
WHAT:
The Groveland Police Department, in conjunction with the Langley-Adams Library and the Massachusetts Safe Routes to School, will host a free bike safety rodeo for children and their parents. The event is organized by Officer Joshua Sindoni and Lauren Towler from the library.
Children should ride or bring their bike to be inspected by Riverside Cycle. Police will ensure helmets are properly fitted and will provide safety tips on cycling.
There will also be a bike decorating station, skills course, slow race and trivia wheel with prizes.
