BURLINGTON – Police Chief Thomas P. Browne and Fire Chief Andrew Connerty are pleased to announce that the Burlington Police and Fire Departments will once again host a community safety night in partnership with Wegmans and 3rd Ave Burlington.

Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 5-7 p.m.
WHERE:
Wegmans parking garage, 53 3rd Ave.
WHAT:
Community Safety Night is a free event for adults and children of all ages that aims to celebrate the community and its public safety personnel. Food, beverages, and music will be provided courtesy of Wegmans and 3rd Ave Burlington.
Public safety personnel from Burlington and neighboring communities will be present at the event.
“We are thrilled to be able to host the Community Safety Night again this year with the Burlington Police Department,” said Chief Connerty. “We encourage all residents to attend with their families and friends, we can’t wait to get together to celebrate our community.”
Attendees will have the chance to get an up-close view of police cruisers, fire trucks, ambulances, and other equipment used by the town’s first responders. There will also be K-9 demonstrations.
Additionally, residents will have the opportunity to “Dunk-a-Police-Officer” in a dunk tank.
