MIDDLEBOROUGH – Chief Joseph Perkins is pleased to announce that the newest member of the Middleborough Police Department has graduated from the MPTC Plymouth Police Academy and will now enter the department’s field training program.
Officer Khari White graduated as part of the academy’s 71st Recruit Officer Class on Friday, Feb. 18. Officer White will begin his field training with the Middleborough Police Department on Monday, Feb. 21.
Officer White is a native of Middleborough and graduated from Middleborough High School in 2015. He graduated from Bridgewater State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2019.
Officer White is a member of the U.S. Army Reserve and is assigned to its Civilian Affairs Unit.
“Congratulations to Officer White on completing his police academy training,” Chief Perkins said. “We look forward to welcoming him to the department and seeing the contributions he will make as a police officer in the community he grew up in.”
