Bedford, N.H. Police Department Welcomes Three New Officers
BEDFORD, N.H. — Chief John J. Bryfonski is pleased to announce that three new officers are joining the Bedford Police Department.
On Friday, April 21, 2017, Officers Timothy Carter and Thomas Maggiano graduated from the 172nd New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council, after an intensive 16-week police academy program. They will now enter the Bedford Police Department’s 20-week Field Training Officer Stage.
Carter, 23, is a Bedford native who holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire.
Maggiano, 22, also grew up in Bedford and now lives in Manchester. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at NHTI, Concord’s Community College.
The third addition to the department is Norman Frink, a Raymond native who was sworn in on Tuesday, April 25. He started Monday, May 1 with the 173rd Academy Class of the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council.
Frink, age 31, is a U.S. Army veteran who will now go through the 16-week academy program before entering the 20-week Field Training Officer Stage.
“Today’s police officers are highly motivated, duty-focused, and more educated than ever before, making the hiring progress extremely competitive,” Chief Bryfonski said. “I am pleased to welcome Timothy Carter, Thomas Maggiano, and Norman Frink to the Bedford Police Department. We have extremely high expectations of them.”
