Hull Police Arrest Alleged Fentanyl Dealer Near School Zone
HULL — Chief John Dunn reports that the Hull Police Department arrested a man for drug possession and intent to distribute in a school zone last week.
RICHARD JANKOWSKI, AGE 28, OF HULL was arrested and charged with:
- Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (felony)
- Possession of a Class B Substance (misdemeanor)
- Drug Violation Near a School Zone (felony)
On Friday, Feb. 3, officers executed a search warrant at 608 Nantasket Ave. Upon arrival, police found JANKOWSKI mixing what appeared to be Fentanyl in his bedroom. An investigation on scene also revealed numerous materials associated with the creation and distribution of Fentanyl and the substance Suboxone in JANKOWSKI’s home.
JANKOWSKI’s residence is located across the street from the Hull Community Nursery School, 600 Nantasket Ave. The Drug Free School Zone law states that no drugs shall be possessed or distributed within 300 feet of a school. JANKOWSKI’s home is 167 feet away from the preschool.
JANKOWSKI was arrested, charged and booked at the Hull Police Department before being released on $290 bail pending his appearance in Hingham District Court.
