*Joint Release* Andover Police and Fire to Host Blood Drive for Boston Children’s Hospital
ANDOVER — Police Chief Patrick Keefe and Fire Chief Michael B. Mansfield are pleased to announce that the Andover Police and Fire Departments are hosting a blood drive to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital.

WHAT
Andover Police and Fire Rescue encourage all residents to attend the town’s first ever blood drive, which is being held at the Andover Public Safety Center.
“As law enforcement, we feel it our duty to support medical institutions such as Boston Children’s,” Chief Keefe said. “Many of our own public safety officials have family or children who have received treatment there, so we are honored to use the day after Thanksgiving to help those who heal.”
“In the wake of nationwide violence, blood supply is crucial,” Chief Mansfield said. “Though this is our first blood drive in the town of Andover, we hope it is the first of many more to come. I encourage every eligible adult to consider giving blood.”
