Randolph Police Attend Back to School Jamboree
RANDOLPH — Chief William Pace is pleased to announce that the Randolph Police Department attended the Back to School Jamboree last Saturday hosted by Randolph Public Schools.
The annual event, held at the Randolph Community Middle School, invites students and families to celebrate the start of a new school year with local town officials.
Randolph Police Safety Officer Kevin Donnelly and Sergeant Jeffrey Chaplin distributed 100 free bicycle helmets to children who attended. The helmets were donated by the law firm of Breakstone, White and Gluck as part of the firm’s charitable project, Kid Safe.
Chief Pace and Larry, the department’s therapy dog in training, were also in attendance.
“Back to school is a busy time for parents and their children, and we appreciate the opportunity to talk with parents and children as they transition out of summer routines,” Chief Pace said. “I’m proud to work with Randolph Public Schools in order to keep children in our community safe. We wish everyone a safe, happy, and healthy school season.”
