UPDATE: 2:25 p.m. — The Arlington Police Department would like to thank you all for your assistance with the traffic advisory we issued this morning. We are pleased to announce that repairs have been made in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street (Route 60) and the intersection is now open to traffic.
The Arlington Police Department would like to spread the word to the public about a traffic advisory in town.
During the the overnight hours, high winds damaged several traffic lights and structures in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street (Route 60). As a result of this damage there is limited access through this high volume intersection.
The Arlington Police Department is asking that motorists avoid the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street (Route 60) and seek alternate routes until further notice.
