Greater Lawrence Tech Receives $385,000 State Grant for Workforce Training, Career Placement
ANDOVER — Superintendent John Lavoie is pleased to announce that the Baker-Polito Administration has awarded Greater Lawrence Tech a $385,000 grant to train adult students for employment in high-demand, high-growth sectors. The grant also seeks to create career pathways and opportunities for underserved and underrepresented populations in the Commonwealth. The grant is funded by the Career and Technical Initiative fiscal year 2021 appropriation through the Workforce Skills Cabinet and is administered by the Commonwealth Corporation.
