MEDWAY — Medway High School Principal John Murray and Medway Middle School Principal Amanda Luizzi are pleased to announce that the schools have partnered with Paper.co to offer 24/7 online tutoring and homework support to students.
Paper is a secure, online tutoring service that provides students with unlimited, 24/7/365 academic support. The partnership was initiated in response to feedback from the community indicating that additional support outside of the classroom with homework and writing assignments would be valuable for students.
Through the service, students are able to get help with homework assignments and studying for tests, as well as have tutors read and make suggestions on written essays. Tutors are available virtually to assist students in over 200 subjects and in English, Spanish, French and Mandarin.
When students log in to start a session, they are instantly connected with subject-matter experts in a secure, chat-based platform who guide them through problems step-by-step. The service is free to families, and there is no time limit on students’ sessions.
Medway teachers also have accounts and can review activity to see what students are working on and provide more targeted instruction as needed.
“It is our hope that students take advantage of all Paper has to offer,” Principal Murray said. “The service is an added resource for our students during the school day, and is especially valuable for students outside of the school day when they may not have access to a teacher.”
“We are excited to offer this new service to our students,” Principal Luizzi said. “The 24/7 assistance is a unique aspect of Paper and allows students to learn on their own time. The variety of subjects available also ensures our students will have additional support in the areas they need most. “
