JGPR designed a new website for the Westport Community Schools. To ensure the site and its content was reflective of the entire school community’s shared vision, JGPR worked with administrators and staff from each school in the district and gathered input from Westport School Committee members throughout the site design process.

The site includes information about the district with individual landing pages for its three schools, and quick links to the district’s various departments such as food services, athletics and the Extended Day Program. Additional features include a link to the district’s Vimeo page, information on the school building project and a news blog for the district.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought with it unique communications needs for school districts. As such, the website features a page for district-wide COVID-19 updates including a weekly dashboard outlining cases in the district, the district’s COVID-19 screening documents and notification protocols, and helpful links and resources for district members.
The site also features an updated and modern design that is user-friendly and ADA-compliant. Lastly, the site connects to the district’s social media pages which feature additional news and highlights from the Westport Community Schools.
