*MEDIA ADVISORY* Burlington Police to Present Teen With Donation from Cops For Kids With Cancer
BURLINGTON — Chief Michael Kent reports that the Burlington Police Department will welcome a Burlington youth to the police station and present him with a donation to help in his fight against cancer.

WHAT:
The Burlington Police Department will welcome Brian, who is battling a brain tumor, and his family to the police station to formally present them with a $5,000 donation from Cops For Kids With Cancer, which is meant to help cover the expenses associated with his ongoing battle with cancer.
An application for support from Cops For Kids With Cancer was submitted on Brian’s behalf by the Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) Foundation.
“We look forward to welcoming Brian and his family to the station tomorrow so we can show our collective support in his fight against cancer,” Chief Kent said. “We are happy to do what we can to ease the burden on him and his family during their difficult time, and we thank the NEMLEC Foundation and Cops For Kids With Cancer for making this donation possible for Brian and for children throughout the region who are going through similar struggles.”
