I have been helping my neighbor’s band, Leo*Leo recently. They have a great marketing person already, but I’m helping them with some press releases and pitching. I invite you to check them out, because the two-woman act has a great sound.
Leo*Leo consists of long-time friends, Vanessa Wheeler and Sarah Bearse. Sarah does the drumming and electronics, and she is a very talented sound engineer. Vanessa plays guitar/bass, and does the lead vocals. Their style is hard to pin down, and they refer to themselves as “an adventure in Brazilian Bossa Nova, Soul, Funk, British Rock, Pop, and Hip-Hop.”
Leo*Leo played CMJ last year, and they are picking up steam with shows in Los Angeles and at home in Boston booked this year.
