CANTON — Superintendent-Director Jill Rossetti is pleased to share that Blue Hills Regional is holding a three-week Summer Exploratory Camp for incoming freshmen.
The camp allows incoming ninth graders to experience the vocational programs offered at Blue Hills and help get ready to start high school this fall.
“The main goal of the camp is to not only expose the students to different vocational programs, but to also smooth their transition into high school,” said Director Nicole Flynn. “It’s a great way for students to meet some of their classmates and teachers ahead of time and get to know the campus better.”
This year, 115 students have signed up to attend the summer camp with approximately 80 students attending each week. The camp runs for three weeks on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to Noon. Students have the option to participate in one, two or all three weeks of the program.
