CANTON — The Paul Revere Heritage Site is pleased to announce that it has received a $5,000 grant from Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation to sponsor the jewelry portion of the copper exhibit in the Paul Revere Museum of Discovery and Innovation.
On June 11, Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation presented the grant check to the Paul Revere Heritage Site.
The copper exhibit opened May 18 of this year and will be open through the end of 2024. The exhibit is currently being featured in the Site’s Historic Barn, exploring historical and contemporary copper artwork modeled after Paul Revere’s copper engraving, hammering, bending and stamping methods.
Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation provides financial support to eligible non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations. The foundation rewards organizations which contribute to areas of health and human services, arts, culture, education and youth activities.
“We were elated to receive this generous grant from Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation,” Revere & Son Heritage Trust Board Member Stephen Schottenfeld said. “We greatly appreciate any support we receive that goes toward making our exhibits as informative and interesting as possible to visitors.”
