TOWNSEND – Superintendent Brad Morgan is pleased to share that 17 North Middlesex Regional High School students have been accepted into the 2023-24 Massachusetts Music Educators’ Association (MMEA) Senior Central District Music Festival.
In total, 10 band students and seven choir students competed against students in Grades 10-12 from several towns and cities across central Massachusetts to earn their spots.
Students selected will participate in the Senior Festival which takes place on Saturday, Jan. 13 at Mechanic’s Hall in Worcester.
In addition to securing their spots in the MMEA Senior Central District Music Festival, five of the seven choir students and seven of the 10 band students were invited to audition for the MMEA All-State Festival.
“We are so proud of our talented and committed students,” said Superintendent Morgan. “This is a great achievement for all involved, including our dedicated music directors and the families of our students who have given their constant support and encouragement. I wish them the best of luck in their upcoming performance.”
