DUNSTABLE — Chief William Farrell is pleased to announce that the Dunstable Fire Department has been awarded grant funding as part of the Walmart Local Community Public Safety Grant.
The $1,000 grant, awarded by Walmart was presented to the Dunstable Fire Department on July 24.
Grant funding will be used to purchase tools and equipment for the department’s new squad truck.
“On behalf of the entire department, I would like to thank Walmart for this generous grant,” said Chief Farrell. “This grant funding will allow our department to continue to best serve the town of Dunstable.”
Walmart’s Local Community Public Safety Grant program supports public safety programs by awarding grants to help fund training programs or to purchase equipment in the local service area.
