SOUTH EASTON — Grace Dyer is recognized as a Class of 2023 Senior in the Spotlight.
Dyer is a senior in the Advertising and Design vocational program. She chose to follow Advertising and Design at Southeastern because of her persistent love for art and design.
Her favorite experience in the vocational program was creating a website for the Shane Eric Martin Foundation. The experience made her feel as though she was doing something that mattered to people.
While at Southeastern, she was a member of the Southeastern Players Drama Club for four years. During this time, she was able to perform in a show that opened the school’s Performing Arts Center.
Following graduation, she plans to attend a four-year college and major in theater/performing arts to further develop her acting skills. Dyer aspires to one day become an actor.
Her advice to freshmen is: “Keep an open mind.”
Southeastern’s Senior Spotlight honorees are chosen based on their high academic and vocational achievement. Seniors are selected from each of the nine towns Southeastern serves and are highlighted prior to graduation, which will be held this year on June 7.
