BOXFORD – Superintendent Michael Harvey and Masconomet Regional High School Art Department Head Stacy Mannheim are pleased to announce the 2023 Regional Scholastic Art & Writing Award results.
The program had 7,363 entries from students grades seven through 12 across Massachusetts. Masconomet Regional High School received a total of 52 awards which included 12 gold keys, 21 silver keys and 19 honorable mentions. The high school received the second-most awards of all high schools in the state that entered.
Gold key winning work is currently being reviewed on a national level and results will be announced in late March.
There will be an in-person exhibit and awards ceremony for gold and silver key recipients on Saturday, March 18, at Tufts University.
“Our student artists should be proud of their work and the recognition they’ve received among their peers throughout the commonwealth,” Harvey said. “I want to thank our educators whose hands-on support of students’ work helped make these awards possible.”
Gold key winners were Nora Achille, Megan Brady, Megan Carroll, Angelina Deiulis, Amber Goudreau, Andrew Makary, Gwendolyn Moon, JT Mroczek, Paige Panagos and Jessica Villarreal Reyes.
Silver key winners were Julia Anderson, Hannah Beardsley, Abigail Brady, Marcelline Clapp, Angelina Deiulis, Sarah Fine, James Gomatos, Jenna Lindsay, Isabella Maddaleni, Ivy Mchugh, Hannah Mitchell, Revati Nargund, Paige Panagos, Cole Paquin, Brooke Silvano, Caroline Troake, Christina Tstesakoy, Jessica Villarreal Reyes and Jennifer Walsh.
