In recognizing John Guilfoil Public Relations as an Agency Elite Top 100 honoree, PRNEWS lauded JGPR’s recent launch of JGPR Academy, a training program specializing in the police, fire, school and municipal government sectors, as well as JGPR growing two of its other services, FirePermits.com and RedBlueJobs. The recognition also highlighted the continued growth of JGPR’s video and website divisions, the launching of the company’s first client-focused podcast, and more.
“It is a tremendous honor to be named to the 2023 Agency Elite Top 100 along with some of the biggest and best firms in the country. We share this honor with our entire staff on behalf of our first responder, school and municipal clients,” said company founder John Guilfoil. “As proud as I am of our company’s growth over the past few years, we have never lost sight of our mission to provide timely and effective communications to our clients. This recognition is a testament to the work we do every day.”
The recognition comes on the heels of JGPR being named a finalist in two categories for PRNEWS’ annual Platinum Awards, one of the most coveted and competitive award competitions in the communication industry. The company is nominated among seven others in the Small Agency of the Year category, as well as in the Crisis Management category for work done on behalf of the Winthrop, Mass. Police Department during and following a mass shooting incident in June of 2021. The winners will be announced next month.
“The Agency Elite Top 100 is the only editorial roster of its kind, dedicated to the most innovative PR & communications firms in the business,” said Danielle Sikes, Associate Publisher at PRNEWS. “Our annual list is an invaluable resource that helps newbies and seasoned vets alike get a sense of who they can trust with their business based on any number of criteria and specialty.”
Earlier this year, JGPR was the most-awarded agency at the 54th Annual Bell Ringer Awards, taking home 14 awards in a variety of categories on behalf of the company’s first responder, school and municipal clients. This marked the second consecutive year JGPR has earned the most total awards at the ceremony. The Bell Ringer Awards are presented by the PR Club, New England’s leading networking and education organization for public relations and communications professionals.
