RAYNHAM — Chief Bryan LaCivita is pleased to invite community members to attend Raynham Fire Department’s upcoming open house event this Saturday.
WHEN:
Saturday, Oct. 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The rain date for this event will be Sunday, Oct. 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
WHERE:
Raynham Fire Department, 37 Orchard St.
WHAT:
There will be fun for all ages at the open house event. The open house will include a touch-a-truck display for community members. Children will be able to get up close, go inside, and take pictures with each vehicle and the firefighters who operate them. Attendees will also be able to learn more about fire safety at the event.
Community members are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Those who wear their costumes to the event will win a special prize.
“Open houses, such as this one, allow our community members to meet and mingle with our firefighters and learn more about our equipment and apparatus in a relaxed atmosphere,” Chief LaCivita said. “We hope to see our community members donning their Halloween costumes this Saturday.”
The open house event is free and open to the public. Raynham Fire asks that all attendees follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s COVID-19 guidance.
