NORTH HAVEN — Chief Paul Januszewski and the North Haven Fire Department would like to encourage the public to check out a new public safety app for mobile devices in conjunction with national Fire Prevention Week.
The state’s new CT Safe app enables Connecticut residents to quickly and easily send reports on suspicious activity to the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection.
The app works with a user’s mobile device to allow accurate location coordinates and even photos to be included in suspicious activity reports.
“The entire community benefits when members of the public work with public safety agencies to share information on possible safety issues or suspicious activity,” Chief Januszewski said. “The CT Safe app provides a quick, easy and reliable way for anyone to provide information on concerning activity.”
