RANDOLPH — Chief Richard Donovan reports that the Randolph Fire Department responded to a fatal crash on Route 24 Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., members of the Randolph Fire Department responded to the northbound side of Route 24 near the onramp to I-93.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed a single vehicle that had gone off the road and struck a tree.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Members of the Stoughton Fire Department and Massachusetts State Police also responded to the scene.
