Become a Tree Designer
Friends of the Marion Council on Aging is looking for organizations, groups or individuals to sponsor and design a tree for the festival.
Trees can be decorated with any style or theme the designer chooses. Pre-lit trees will be supplied to those who wish to design a tree at no cost, but designers will be responsible for providing all decorations and display items for their tree.
The designed trees will then be raffled off to raise money to support programming at the Community Center.
The deadline to register to sponsor a tree is Nov. 20. Click here for the registration form.
Tree decorating for those who sponsor a tree will take place at the Community Center on the following dates:
- Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 1-4 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 28 from 9 a.m. to noon
Community members can also participate in the event by donating a basket to be raffled off during the festival. Baskets may be donated up until 11 a.m. on Nov. 28.
