Tom joined JGPR in February 2021 after an accomplished career as a reporter and editor at the Middlesex (now MetroWest Daily) News, The Sun of Lowell and the Sentinel & Enterprise of Fitchburg. Each paper earned numerous industry honors during his tenure.
He’s made frequent appearances as an analyst on NECN’s “Primary Source” political program and organized and moderated numerous local political debates.
Tom has a deep knowledge of local government and school operations, as well as community journalism and social media trends. At JGPR, he has developed numerous strategic communications and social media campaigns. Since joining JGPR, Tom has done award-winning work on behalf of clients.
Additionally, he worked as an adjunct professor at Middlesex Community College, teaching newswriting, media ethics and business ethics.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Boston University.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Everybody needs an editor.

Listen. Observe. You don’t know what you don’t know.
