Zinni comes to JGPR after retiring as Superintendent at the King Philip Regional School District where he has worked for the past five years. During a 36-year career in education, Zinni has held the positions of an elementary school teacher, special education teacher and secondary mathematics teacher. He has most recently served in administrative and leadership capacities — working for 27 years as a principal, Title I Director, Director of Pupil Services, Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent for the Avon Public Schools and then at King Philip.
At JGPR, Zinni serves as a Senior Consultant, working to strengthen relationships with school districts and other clients served by JGPR. He is an indispensable peer resource for new and established educational leaders alike. Zinni will expand and enhance JGPR’s services and programs for school clients by creating new and valuable programming to serve the public education sector.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
The things you stress most about rarely occur, so stop spending time stressing over things that likely won’t happen and that you can’t change even if they do…
What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join the team?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it… We’ve all been there…
