JGPR Director of Education, Training, and Development Paul Zinni will lead a professional development workshop at the CEC 2026 Special Education Convention & Expo in Salt Lake City, Utah. “A School Leader’s Guide to Navigating Uncomfortable Conversations” will explain how leaders can manage sensitive issues in a caring and compassionate manner.
Participants will learn how to establish a set of norms when working with various stakeholder groups, identify the causes of uncomfortable conversations, and implement suggestions and strategies to manage conversations with parents, staff, administrators, and community members. Educators will understand how to provide feedback to staff in a way that creates positive changes in the classroom and enhances teacher performance.
