JGPR to Host Golf Tournament Benefiting The Hundred Club of Massachusetts on Aug. 13

WAYLAND — John Guilfoil Public Relations is pleased to announce its first-ever charity golf tournament to be held at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland on Aug. 13 that will benefit the Hundred Club of Massachusetts.

All proceeds from the event will be donated directly to the Hundred Club of Massachusetts, a non-profit that is wholly dedicated to supporting the families and loved ones of first responders who have died in the line of duty.

The tournament will be a shotgun-style scramble and will include breakfast, a lunch buffet, swag bags, drink ticket, raffles, and contests. We will also have LeaderBoard New England’s Air Cannon on the 16th hole and some other surprises.

Registration will open in early April. Sign up to receive email alerts to be notified when registration goes live and to receive the latest news about the tournament by visiting jgpr.net/golf/.

Donations and sponsorship opportunities are now available. JGPR’s goal is to raise at least $20,000 for The Hundred Club, raise awareness of their mission and support first-responder families through this trusted Massachusetts charity.

“I have been a member of The Hundred Club for nearly 20 years, and since our founding in 2013, JGPR has provided pro bono support to police and fire departments — and families — who suffer the death of a first responder in the line of duty by providing free obituaries and no-cost communications support for departmental funerals. JGPR and The Hundred Club are mission-aligned. We support those who sacrifice so much to keep our communities safe,” said JGPR founder John Guilfoil. “Our inaugural JGPR Golf Tournament is just another way to give back to those who do so much for all of us, and I hope it will become an annual tradition. I can’t wait to see everyone out in Wayland on August 13!”

“Support from partners like John Guilfoil Public Relations makes a meaningful difference for the families of fallen firefighters and police officers across Massachusetts,” said Hundred Club of Massachusetts Executive Director Tracie Hines. “This tournament represents more than a day of golf — it’s a powerful show of community standing behind those who sacrifice so much. This tournament will directly support families who have lost a loved one in service to others, and we are deeply thankful to JGPR and everyone participating in this inaugural event.”
