What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
The best advice I’ve ever received was to be yourself. Many people conform their beliefs or ways of thinking depending on the situation they’re in. I believe it’s better to be genuine.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join the team?
Don’t be shy or afraid. There is room for a wide variety of people and mindsets on our team. Everyone brings something unique to the table.

Cats or dogs?
Cats.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
Getting to tell the positive stories that otherwise might go untold is very inspiring. We get to highlight people who are often behind the scenes, but making an incredible difference in their community.

When you were 5, what did you aspire to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a garbage man when I grew up. As a kid, I always looked forward to garbage day and eagerly awaited the garbage truck to come by.

What’s your why?
My wife and my two sons.
