To support National Fire Prevention week, JGPR worked with the Whitman Fire Department to create a video to replace traditional in-school educational visits. Because of COVID-19 the Fire Department could no longer visit schools to share fire prevention best practices and take students through a training mini-house.
To replace the in-person experience, JGPR made the event virtual with a video. Four students from the same school pod were selected by their teacher to take part in the taping. A firefighter took the students through each room in the house demonstrating best safety practices. Those best practices were reinforced with on-screen graphics. Through the use of video, the Whitman Fire Department was able to continue a valuable educational experience, despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
