BEDFORD — Chief Daniel Douidi reports that JARED MASSEUR, AGE 40, fo NASHUA, charged after Bedford Police Department officer who was shot during a struggle appeared on at Merrimack District Court in front of Judge Mark Derby on video from Hillsborough County House of Corrections.
Prosecutor Jason Moore requested that MASSEUR be held on preventive detention. Judge Derby ordered MASSEUR to be held without bail pending a probably cause hearing on Jan. 16.
MASSEUR did not speak during the brief hearing. He is represented by a public defender.
