On Thursday, Feb. 29, officers from the Pepperell Police Department executed a search warrant at 56 Nashua Road with assistance from the Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC).
NEMLEC assistance was requested while serving the search warrant because police had reason to believe there were firearms in the residence that was to be searched.
A NEMLEC SWAT team entered and secured the home. Two firearms and multiple illegal substances were found during a search. FARRAR and SHANK were both taken into custody without further incident.
FARRAR and SHANK were both arraigned Friday in Ayer District Court.
“I want to thank NEMLEC and all of the law enforcement agencies that were present to assist us with this search,” said Chief Blain.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
