MAYNARD — Police Chief Michael Noble and Fire Chief Angela Lawless and the Maynard Police and Fire Departments report that, due to severe weather, several streets have been impassable as power lines and trees are down.
Roughly 17 streets have been impacted by severe weather, including heavy rain and high winds, in what is believed to be a microburst.
Residents are asked to proceed with caution when traveling. Roads are currently being cleared, with assistance from Maynard Department of Public Works, and Eversource has been notified.
There have been no reported injuries at this time, however there has been reports of a damaged roof.
