Chief Anthony Marag reports that the Randolph Police Department and its law enforcement partners have located a man who had been missing since Saturday afternoon.
The man, a 78-year-old with dementia, was reported missing at 3 p.m. on Saturday., prompting a comprehensive search by the Randolph Police Department and its local and regional law enforcement partners.
The man was safely located on the south side of town at about 1:15 p.m. on Sunday.

Chief Marag and the Department also thank their law enforcement partners for their assistance: Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (Metro-LEC) Detectives, Search and Rescue Team, Command Post Team, Drone Unit, and Bike Unit; Massachusetts State Police Air Wing; and the Brockton Police Department, Canton Police Department, Franklin Police Department, Hingham Police Department, Norwell Police Department, Weymouth Police Department, and the state Department of Correction, which supplied K-9 units to assist in the ground search.
