TEWKSBURY – Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested and charged a Dracut man with distribution of fentanyl.
KELVIN SANCHEZ BAEZ, AGE 45, OF DRACUT, was arrested and charged with:
- Distribution of a Class A Drug (Fentanyl)
On Tuesday, Aug. 16 at approximately 6:33 p.m., Tewksbury Police observed what was believed to be a drug transaction at a business at 95 Main St.
An initial investigation determined that a male in a black Honda Civic distributed fentanyl to another party.
A subsequent investigation identified SANCHEZ BAEZ, who was employed at the address where the drug transaction occurred, as the individual who sold fentanyl.
On Thursday, Aug. 18 at approximately 9:45 a.m., SANCHEZ BAEZ was arrested without incident and charged.
SANCHEZ BAEZ will be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Friday.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
