ENFIELD — Chief Edward N. Richards is pleased to invite residents to attend Enfield Fire District No. 1’s upcoming drive-thru trick-or-treating event.
When:
Saturday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m., or while supplies last
Where:
Enfield Fire Department Station Two, 199 Weymouth Road
What:
The Enfield Fire Department invites residents to attend their upcoming drive-thru trick-or-treat event on Halloween.
At the event, residents will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat from the safety of their own vehicles. Upon their arrival, parents will be directed to follow the signs and enter the fire station from the rear. All windows should be rolled up out of an abundance of caution.
Once residents enter the fire station they will be asked to open their rear trunk or hatch door. As they proceed through the station a plastic bag with sealed Halloween candy will be placed in the rear of the car. After attendees receive their candy they are asked to exit the fire station driveway.
All vehicle occupants should wear a mask while attending the event. Children are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes, but they must be wearing a mask as well.
The event is for Enfield residents only.
“To ensure that all of our residents can safely participate in Halloween festivities this year, we will be hosting this family-friendly event for all Enfield residents,” Chief Richards said. “Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will be requiring our residents to adhere to all safety protocols. We look forward to celebrating with you all and seeing everyone’s Halloween costumes.”
