Easton Police Continue Search for Missing Man
Low-Flying State Police Helicopter Assisting in Search
EASTON — Chief Gary Sullivan reports that the Easton Police Department is continuing to actively search for an Easton man, who was reported missing last week.
Police are seeking the public’s help in locating Gregory Glavin, age 35, of Easton. He was last seen leaving a friend’s house in North Attleboro on Saturday, Feb. 17. He was reported missing on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
About 10 officers from the Easton Police Department, State Police and Environmental Police are searching in the area of Wheaton Farm and Wright Farm, off of Bay Road near the Norton town line. They began searching around 8:30 a.m.
Residents in the area should know that a low-flying State Police helicopter will be conducting searches in the area and there is no need for alarm.
There are multiple K9 officers and officers riding all-terrain vehicles involved in the search as well.
Glavin left his friend’s house on his maroon moped on Feb. 17. He was wearing a black leather jacket over white and green long sleeve shirts, blue jeans, blue work boots and a red helmet.
Glavin is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds.
Glavin’s last phone calls, text messages and banking activity were conducted on the last day he was seen.
As of Tuesday morning, there is no reason to believe that Glavin’s disappearance is suspicious.
If anyone has seen Glavin or has any information on his whereabouts, they are asked to call the Easton Police Department at 508-230-3322.
