Tyngsborough Police Investigating Report of Stolen Military and Personal Passports
TYNGSBOROUGH — Chief Richard D. Howe reports that the Tyngsborough Police Department is investigating the alleged theft of two passports, one military and one personal, from a home yesterday afternoon.
On June 10, shortly before 5 p.m., Tyngsborough Police responded to a residence on Blossom Street for a report of an attempted breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers found the upstairs bedroom had been gone through and a locked file cabinet was damaged. A black and gray North Face backpack, containing clothes, grooming items, and the military and personal passports of a male resident, was reported stolen. Nothing else was reported missing from the home.
Police searched the surrounding area, but found no traces of a suspect. The incident remains under investigation by Tyngsborough Police Detectives.
Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact Lt. Shaun Wagner or Detective Sgt. Cynthia Shay at 978-649-7504. Residents may also contact the anonymous tip line by selecting option “9” from that number.
