Concord Police Searching for Suspect Involved in Indecent Assault and Battery, Asking for Public’s Assistance
CONCORD — Chief Joseph O’Connor reports that the Concord Police Department is actively searching for a suspect involved in an indecent assault and battery yesterday.
On Tuesday, May 24, at approximately 12:45 p.m., an indecent assault and battery occurred at a Commonwealth Avenue location in West Concord. Detectives involved in the investigation were able to obtain video surveillance and still photos of the suspect from a business in West Concord.
The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s, between 5-feet-10-inches and 6 feet tall, 150 to 160 pounds, wearing jeans, sandals and a tan sweater over a shirt with an exposed collar. He may have left the area on a bicycle.
Concord Police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect.
“We are actively looking for the male depicted in the video,” Chief O’Connor said. “If anyone recognizes the man we ask that they please call us immediately.”
Those with information should call the Concord Police Department at 978-318-3400. All calls can remain anonymous.
