Pepperell Police Arrest Man for Exposing Himself Inside Varnum Brook Elementary School
PEPPERELL – Chief David Scott reports that the Pepperell Police Department arrested a man this morning who allegedly exposed himself inside the Varnum Brook Elementary School.
The suspect did not have any contact with — and his alleged actions were not witnessed by — any children at the school.
CHARLES JESTINGS, AGE 54, OF PEPPERELL is charged with Open and Gross Lewdness.
On Friday, April 1, at approximately 10:20 a.m, police were called to the Varnum Brook Elementary School, 10 Hollis St., on a report that a man entered the building and exposed himself to an employee.
Upon arrival, police were informed that the man walked up to the front counter and was speaking with the secretary when another employee noticed that he was exposing himself.
School staff immediately led JESTINGS outside, where he was met by police and arrested.
“Superintendent Landers and I want to assure all Varnum Brook parents that no students were in contact with this individual,” Chief Scott said. “School staff quickly removed this individual from the building and we took over from there.”
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
