Woburn Police Department Announces Promotions

WOBURN — Police Chief Robert J. Ferullo Jr. is pleased to announce the following promotions:

• Lt. John O’Neil, promoted to Captain, assigned to Commander Patrol Division and Personnel Officer
• Sgt. Timothy Donovan, promoted to Lieutenant, assigned to Shift Commander B Shift
• Sgt. Edward Jolly, promoted to Lieutenant, assigned to Shift Commander C Shift
• Officer Paul Carpenter, promoted to Sergeant, assigned to Patrol Supervisor C Shift
• Detective Brian McManus, promoted to Sergeant, assigned to Patrol Supervisor B Shift
• Reserve Officer Cristina Bartolomeu, promoted to Police Officer assigned to C Shift
• Reserve Officer Robert Pruyne, promoted to Police Officer assigned to B Shift
• Reserve Officer Andrew Albertelli, promoted to Police Officer assigned to B Shift
• Reserve Officer Thomas Clark, promoted to Police Officer assigned to C Shift

The ceremony took place on June 17 at Woburn City Hall. Mayor Scott Galvin and City Clerk William Campbell presided. Campbell swore each member into their new position.

“I offer my sincere congratulations to each and every member of the Woburn Police Department who has been promoted, including our four new, full-time police officers,” Chief Ferullo said. “The Woburn Police Department is stronger than ever, and that is because of each and every one of you.”
