ARLINGTON — The following is a message from Superintendent Dr. Kathleen Bodie regarding the death of U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Marwan S. Ghabour, a former Arlington Public Schools student who was tragically killed in an overseas helicopter crash on Thursday, Nov. 12.
ARLINGTON — Arlington’s Director of Health and Human Services Christine Bongiorno reports that a prisoner of war (POW), who fought in the Korean War, will finally be laid to rest. Residents are invited to honor the Massachusetts native during a funeral procession in Arlington tomorrow.

GROVELAND – The call was for a gas leak. Police cars arrived first, blue lights blaring. They were followed by all of the fire trucks in the Groveland fleet, red lights active and sirens sounding. It had all the makings of a real emergency with one exception: There was no emergency at all.
