Former King Philip Student Featured in Rochester Institute of Technology ‘Student Spotlight’ Article

NORFOLK — Superintendent Paul Zinni is pleased to announce that King Philip Class of 2018 graduate Deirdre Cannon was featured in a “Student Spotlight” article on her college’s website last week.

Cannon, of Norfolk, is a first-year biotechnology and molecular bioscience student at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). The article, which was posted on Wednesday, March 6, includes a Q&A about her love of science and art and how she is using both while at school.

Cannon is utilizing her artistic side to create a poster that will serve as the backdrop for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Inclusive Excellence initiative at RIT.
