SOUTH SHORE — The Towns of Hingham, Hull, Scituate and Cohasset continue to oppose cuts to transit service throughout the South Shore, as the MBTA announced this week that schedule changes will soon take effect.

SOUTH SHORE — The Towns of Cohasset, Hingham, Hull and Scituate oppose the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority’s (MBTA) series of proposed changes to its transit service that were announced today, Nov. 9, which would result in numerous cuts and service reductions impacting the Greenbush Commuter Rail Line and Hingham-Hull Ferry.
COHASSET — Town Manager Christopher Senior and Select Board Chair Diane Kennedy report that the Cohasset Select Board approved a letter last week opposing a proposal of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) to end service on the Greenbush commuter rail line, as well as commuter ferry service from Hingham and Hull.
