The Oyster River Cooperative School Board has voted unanimously to develop a plan for a new middle school, which we will put before voters in the district. Drawing on almost four years of study, we have concluded that the current middle school has such serious deficiencies that renovation or tinkering with the current building are not viable options.
HULL — The following is a statement from Hull Superintendent Michael Devine and Police Chief John Dunn regarding an incident at the Memorial Middle School this morning.
“At approximately 11:30 a.m., Hull Police received a call from administration at Memorial Middle School, 81 Central Ave., after a male eighth grade student made a concerning remark about a firearm.
