Newington Fire Collects 400 Pounds of Food Donations During Santa Ride
NEWINGTON — Chief E.J. Hoyt and the Newington Fire Department are pleased to share that firefighters were able to collect 400 pounds of food donations during Friday’s Santa Ride through town and End 68 Hours of Hunger Food Drive.
Rochester Hosting Municipal Employee Food Drive to Benefit Local Chapter of End 68 Hours of Hunger
City Manager Blaine Cox is pleased to announce that the City of Rochester will be a corporate sponsor for the month of January to the local chapter of the End 68 Hours of Hunger organization.

The End 68 Hours of Hunger program, is a non-profit community organization that helps provide food to school children that may otherwise go without during their weekend break from school. Rochester’s program, assisted by City Manager Dan Fitzpatrick and sponsored by the Rochester Rotary Club, provides children with meal bags that include two breakfasts, two lunches and three dinners.
