DEDHAM — Police Chief Michael d’Entremont and Fire Chief William Spillane report that a Tier One hazardous materials response was declared today at the Dedham Public Library after the discovery of a white powdery substance, believed to be narcotics.
GREAT BARRINGTON — Chief William Walsh reports that the Great Barrington Police Department arrested a woman today for drug possession who was out on bail for the same offense and had an active arrest warrant.
ASHBY– Chief Fred Alden and Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan have announced that Paula Prieur, 53, of Peterborough, New Hampshire, and Patricia Heywood, 55, of Peterborough, New Hampshire, were arraigned yesterday in Ayer District Court in connection with a drug arrest that took place on Saturday, June 4 in Ashby.
NORTH READING — Police Chief Michael P. Murphy reports that the North Reading Police Department arrested a local man after an investigation into alleged dealing of prescription painkillers (opioids) and other drugs. As part of the investigation, police also arrested an employee of the North Reading Department of Public Works and charged him with drug possession.
